“Bahrain is different to any of the other places in the Gulf because it is more family centric for Westerners. It’s easier to find schooling places up to a high standard. The schools here are superb. The facilities for families are great. The housing is of a much higher standard and available at a more economical rate so we live in a lovely villa in a compound with pool and tennis court and gym, squash court, and it cost us the same as a 2 bed flat would cost us in Dubai. And it’s easy to get around.”
