Masar Group, a subsidiary of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company “Mumtalakat” has signed an agreement with The Captain’s Club, a UAE based leader in the maritime leisure sector, to launch Bahrain’s first membership-based boat club in the Kingdom. This partnership will introduce a unique range of marine services to the country, offering sea enthusiasts the opportunity to drive boats without ownership—at an affordable and accessible cost.
The Captain’s Club is the region’s largest boat club, offering a smart alternative to boat ownership. Members can enjoy driving boats themselves after completing the required training, while avoiding the the complexities and costs of ownership—saving members over 90% compared to traditional costs. With more than a decade of experience in the Arabian Gulf, the club offers a fleet of over 200 boats including fishing boats, speedboats, watersports activities, sailboats, and cabin cruisers—catering to a wide variety of member preferences.
Through this agreement, which was signed on the sidelines of Gateway Gulf 2025 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, members will be able to access and operate boats independently following specialized training, ensuring a safe and enjoyable sailing experience. This model provides an innovative alternative to traditional ownership by giving members regular access to boats andenhancing their marine adventures without the commitments and responsibilities of owning a vessel.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Yusuf Khalifa Al Manea, CEO of Masar Group, and Mr. Zaid Shouli, CEO of Captain Club, in the presence of board members and representatives from both parties.
