Born in the city of Nablus, Palestine in 1992, Kamal learnt to play musical instruments and sing at a young age. As an adult, his journey to stardom began after performing a cover version of the famous Arabic tune “Mawtini” in 2015. He then rose to fame in the UK, performing gigs across the country alongside his university band. However, Omar’s career truly propelled after the release of his jazz cover version of “Love Never Felt So Good” by the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
