The entire Gulf region is going through a revolution in education.
The new focus is on quality education provision at all levels for all students.
In Bahrain we have a modern education system, from primary school through to university. However, we recognise the need to do more. Bahrain is a youthful country, and education is vital to the country’s future.
A National Education Reform Initiative
This is now improving teacher training and setting new educational standards. We are also building new local schools, international schools, universities and vocational training centres.
Bahrain is once again strategically positioned at the heart of the region to become a centre of excellence for education and learning in the region.
Many international institutions are already here, including DePaul University (United States) and the British School of Bahrain.
Opportunities
Investment in the education sector offers considerable scope, particularly for International K-12 schools, education management and consulting companies, vocational training centres and international universities.
