Chaired by His Highness the Crown Prince, Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) formulates and oversees development strategy.
The Board of Directors includes government ministers and industry executives, so public and private sectors work closely together.
The EDB is responsible for creating the climate to attract direct investment, and for marketing the Kingdom abroad through embassies and overseas offices in Japan, Hong Kong and India.
