Whole of government partnership to deliver aspirations of Vision 2030
Manama, Bahrain: His Highness Shaikh Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Deputy of His Majesty, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Economic Development Board, and all Government Ministers today took part in a special planning retreat for Vision 2030. The purpose of the retreat was to work together and plan the delivery of Bahrain’s National Strategy which underpins Vision 2030.
At the heart of Vision 2030 is a clear aspiration of building a better life for every Bahraini. To achieve this, the National Strategy lays out a comprehensive approach for the further development of Bahrain’s economy. The strategy will include a range of strategic initiatives in key areas that affect the day-to-day lives of Bahrainis such as housing, education, health, and job creation.
HH Deputy of The King and Crown Prince said:
“Vision 2030 provides Bahrain with a clear economic aspiration to build a better life for every Bahraini. This can only be achieved through a whole of government partnership, with Ministries and Agencies pulling together in one direction, delivering initiatives that make a real difference to peoples’ lives”.
H.E Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister said:
“The national strategy details a number of strategic initiatives that turn the aspirations of Vision 2030 into reality. Most of these initiatives will be delivered by a number of Ministries and Agencies, and so a collaborative approach is essential. This retreat is the first of a number of working sessions we will have on the national strategy and a great opportunity for us to focus on our joint delivery of the key projects.”
